With the good string of weather, our art projects were put on hold. Plus, I realized it's so much work to try and get everything prepared for the kids to use that the excitement of actually doing the project is severly diminished by the prep and clean up needed.
Here's two projects we did a couple of weeks ago with food. I had grander visions of what these would turn out like, but I think Brie was more intent on getting to eat the art medium instead of creating a masterpiece with it.
First up, trail mix art. Creation 1: A Lesson in Abstract
Creation 2: "Camel"
Another day, another medium: Mini pizza art.
The creation on the left is an abstract piece, the creation on the right is supposed to be a girl with a mushroom head and chicken arms.
