Movie Recommendations

Here are a few Dave and I have watched recently. Most are based on true stories (my fav genre of late) and all are great discussion starters.

• Freedom Writers (we stayed up until 11 watching (most) of this - you know a movie is good when you're willing to forgo an hour or more of sleep)
• The Great Debaters
• Flash of Genius
• Hoop Dreams
• Lars and the Real Girl (thanks for the recommendation Tim and Lauren!)
• Cars (okay...this is actually one we got for the kids, but I had to add it since it almost brought me to tears - which is saying a lot for a movie about pieces of metal)
