"When I grow up and have my own children, I'm going to make bread and cookies and cabbage soup."
"How many children are you going to have, Reesie?"
"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine."
With eyebrows raised, "And what are you going to name them?"
"Piggy, baby squirrel, baby bird, Justin (and a few others that were hard to make out)."
There was a lot more to the conversation, but I admit I was tuning in and out.
And then Reese said, "When we go to sleep and then wake up Jesus is going show us pictures."
"What pictures is he going to show us?"
"Of me, Mommy, Daddy, Lukie." (I can't remember if he said Brianna - another tired, mom brain moment)
It's funny he said that because on another blog I read, the author - a young women who lost her daughter hours after birth, wrote post this week on taking pictures in our mind of special moments and how we can choose to make each moment more God-focused. She also shared how she could feel Him tell her, He too takes pictures of her life and saves them.
This is such a beautiful concept that I just had to share it!
Praying for each of you to have a heavenly album full of God-filled memories.
